Pump-out Sewer Systems

Good news for ratepayers of Liverpool City Council currently on “pump out sewer systems”, LCIT Councillors Peter Harle and Karress Rhodes successfully moved an amendment to the Liverpool City Councils’ DCP (Development Control Plan) that could result in financial assistance to those residents unable to connect to the State owned and operated sewerage system. A report will come back to Council for consideration and implementation as soon as possible.
Part of the amendment asks the State Government to contribute to the scheme which may indirectly result in speeding up the process in providing the necessary infrastructure promised by major Political parties decades ago.
